It was a day to remember for followers of the Dow Jones Industrial Average 2 Minute (INDEXDJX:.DJI) Index as it crossed 18,000 points for the first time in history. It took the index 120 trading days to add 1,000 points after crossing 17,000 points in July this year. It is the fifth-fastest 1,000-point gain in the history of the index.
